On the 13th day, we rose again and prayed that we would find our special horse. My team and I had been walking from barn to barn day after day, hoping to find the horse that fit our rigorous requirements. After getting outbid on four horses that passed muster, I thought I'd be going home horseless. But alas, we found this beautiful athletic chestnut filly by Frosted out of the First Samurai mare Princess Samurai. This big chestnut filly is a very pretty and graceful horse by the sire Frosted, a son of the mighty Tapit. This filly is a product of the TrueNicks A rated cross of Frosted/Giant’s Causeway.
As big and powerful as she is, she moves like a gazelle. She is a very willing filly with a lot of class about her. At the same time she is a very powerful individual who looks to be an easy one to train. After two days of rigorous showing, she was as fresh and alert on sales day as she was early on show day. That is a good sign of Stamina!
She looks to have limitless potential across various surfaces and distances. Between boosted purses for NY state-breds and the new $3.2 million series, her earning capacity is truly exceptional. With the opening of the new state-of-the-art Beautiful Belmont Park, we will be ready to go with a choice of three different surfaces!
