A native New Yorker, Tom grew up in the shadow of Belmont Park and pursued a career in the thoroughbred business while working the farms and sales of central Kentucky. Tom learned the ropes of the racing industry under the tutelage of Lee Eaton and Leslie Combs, two of the most progressive and innovative men in the history of thoroughbred breeding and racing. Working in sales at Eaton Farm and Combs' Spendthrift Farm, Tom learned early on that service is all important to maintaining client satisfaction. Hand-in-hand with his wife, Mia, Tom built a bloodstock business in upstate New York and owns the Thomas J. Gallo III Sales Agency, LLC based at his Blue Stone Farm in Cambridge, NY.

Tom brings the wisdom of forty years of success in the bloodstock business into the foundation of Dream Maker Racing horse racing partnerships. "Knowing my clients and creating a program to fit their budget and expectations," Tom explains, "is the key to a successful endeavor - it must work - it must click - or it's just another business with bills piling up."

In addition to his management of Dream Maker Racing, Tom sells about 100 yearlings, weanlings, and broodmares annually at auctions in New York, Maryland and Kentucky. He also owns about ten mares in partnerships at his 100-acre Blue Stone Farm.

Tom is the President of the New York Thoroughbred Breeders and provides horse management services for clients, performs appraisals, and provides expert witness services. Tom is involved in promoting safe and healthy thoroughbred racehorse retirement. Tom is also a former board member of Gilda's club and now event planning committee member of the American Cancer Society, a non-profit organization offering services to those affected by cancer. He has 4 grown children and resides with his wife near Saratoga Springs, NY.
